If I was Twitter I'd be scared shitless by Mastodon. Nice work @Gargron, team, and open source nomads.
@thorstenpanknin I just think the system is better, from being open source, to relying on communities, to the way it's designed to filter out hate and bullying. The big draw now is the openness, as only tech folks were nerding out on Twitter early. But as more people, especially high profile ones, bail on Twitter for something less despicable, Mastodon is the obvious choice.
