And the dark theme is black. Isn't it?

@lauteshirn there's a dark theme and a black theme.

@lauteshirn "Dark" is a dark grey, consistent with Android's normal difference between a light and a dark theme.

"Black" uses pure black (RGB #000) for the background. Some people think that may be more power efficient for AMOLED screens. Some searching shows lots of arguing back and forth about that online, I have no idea whether it has a benefit or not.

But the dark in your app is darker than in the Tusky app. In my opinion too dark!

It's darker than Tusky because if it wasn't there wouldn't be enough contrast between the lighter colours (eg text, links) and the dark background.

This lack of contrast can be an accessibility issue. This isn't a theoretical concern, see github.com/tuskyapp/Tusky/issu for example.
