So I followed the Void Linux wiki, and now I have sound! I tested with videos and games too. And when I say games, I mean Dosbox, hehe.
Since I have an OK-ish setup now (Xfce only though, not with i3), I might leave this for the moment. Without the proprietary nvidia drivers qutebrowser is not working though, so I am back with Firefox full time.
