I think this is a valid critizism of the current state of gaming. The C&C game looked like a general mobile strategy game from years ago.
By not creating the same shit over and over again you will improve development conditions, because people want their job also to be interesting and not always the same every year.
So yes, when we critize we want better games, we want better for the devs too!
