I try to understand people who were once vegan, but after years they go back to eating meat. I try to understand their thinking, since I am still a baby vegan myself (less than 1 year), and I don't want to fall into their thinking.
So far I have found only dumb reasons (can't take 2 more pills or vegans are so agressive), which both are interesting from long term vegans. Pressure from outside maybe?
@parasurv I used to live vegetarian for some years. At the end of this era it didn't feel good anymore. Not only there were cravings for meat, I felt bloated and I was at peak (over-)weight.
It's funny that I think that pressure from outside may keep people stick to veganism in order to prevent themselves from being shamed for 'failing' or 'not doing it right' just because it turned out not to be the their cup of tea.
