I should have been clearer - not the default media tab on a profile, but as a way to modify a user's URL to display "gallery style", like a flickr profile or a camera roll.

REQUEST - How does one use the mastodon media gallery feature? Something along the lines of ?

A quite different style emphasising people, rather than places, was also popular during this period. Photo 1 is an example of this by poster artist Frank Newbould. He depicts two stylish people in front of Mons Meg (a very large cannon at Edinburgh Castle).

Although painted in oil you can see similar stylistic elements in more recent works by, for example, Jack Vettriano. Although Jack's works are usually "selling" something other than travel.

I've been taking photos for over 20 years. It's been a great way to document people, places and points in my life and it's something I'd like to get better at. So it's quite embarrassing that this is my most viewed photo on flickr. By a large margin.

Hello Fediworld πŸ‘‹

most of the #switchingsocial website is restored - have a look:
(or for short)

I want to thank @gemlog for preparing the web-archive version and @LuKaRo for extracting the missing pages from the Google Cache. Would have taken so much longer without you two πŸ™‚

Hi Fediverse

it seems to me that closed down it's services. All social media accounts are deleted and the site is currently offline.

Unfortunately, I have no clue what happened, I'm as surprised as you are. I already contacted the French, Italian and Turkish version of the site.

In case someone knows anything about what happened or has backups of one/multiple pages of the website, I would be very happy to get in touch with you.

you call them steamed punks, despite the fact that they are obviously grilled

Had a smashing evening processing and uploading a bunch of photos I've had on my hard disk for yonks -

What did people think about when they listened to the Blue Danube before they thought about space ships and space stations?
