Here’s my SpiderVerse OC, a lab spider that was experimented on with Spider-Man’s blood. Has human child level intelligence and empathy, amplified strength, an extended life span, and the ability to speak. Breaks free and decides to find and “help” Spider-Man, his role model.

The older I get, the easier it is to just cancel writing that response to some ranting rando on GitHub, Twitter, etc.. Basically whenever I realize it's not worth spending energy on confrontational convos. And when you get older you just realize it earlier, because you've been there a thousand times, then a million times, then it tapers off. Mastodon as a Sidebar (Firefox add-on) by @soapdog is really neat! Just tried it out today and it works surprisingly well. Uses Pinafore under the hood, so you can log in to multiple instances. Pressing Shift-Alt-M will close or open it. Cool use case! addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firef

Something that often gets missed out when talking about on-call culture are a pair of concepts that go hand in hand: continuous feedback, and paying down tech debt.
