Well, I just paid $25 to attend a listening session of the quadraphonic mix of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. I’m that guy.

For dinner tonight, I made Night+Market’s Chiang Rai Fried Chicken Sandwich and paired it with a Hitachino White Ale.

Yo, Crazy Rich Asians is good and you should go see it

One of the things I’ve come to love about wok cooking is the fact that it requires my full attention. Distraction delays eating and can ruin the dish.

Or… In the case of 🌶 🌶 🌶 thai food, distracted cooking yields a cloud of capsaicin that results in you coughing up a lung.

(The latter didn’t happen tonight but the prospect of it happening is a good motivator for not fucking up)

So uh when I make cold brew coffee at home, I never dilute it when serving. It’s like the coffee equivalent of jet fuel, and I love it.

Continuing the trend of caffeinated cocktails, here’s one I’m calling uh “coffey and coffee”, since it’s made with the Nikka Coffey Grain whisky and homemade Cold Brew.

(A new internet to hang out warrants a new food thing photo, right?)
