Perusal of the interwebs reveals the shitty Android tablet I messed about with the other day was released in Feb 2013, making it 5 years old. It's a moderately basic 9.7-in unit, a fair performer in its day but a clunker now.
Yesterday I paid $97 for a Lenovo 7-in Android tablet, also quite basic but a pleasure to use. I set up Tusky app on it for #CoSo & Mastodon use.
Size-wise, it's a bit shorter, thinner & narrower than my sister's 2013 Nexus 7. Similar features but not so solidly built.
