Authorities have faced near-daily protests since last November when a Renovated station roof collapsed killing 15 people in #NoviSad, Serbia's second city.
Students, teachers and other workers blamed rampant government corruption and negligence for the disaster.
They are also demanding release of documents about the disaster and accountability for those responsible.

On March 15th 2025, a sonic weapon has allegedly been used on the protesters in Belgrade during the "15. for 15" anti-corruption protest. MUP and Ministry of Defense have denied usage of any sonic weapons against the protesters. During the 15 minutes of silence on the protest, at about 19:10, near the Beograđanka building, the sound caused many people to panic and physically react by falling down or jumping out of the way.[15][16][17]
