The Rentenversicherung FINALLY got back to me. I now have proof of all of the months I've paid into the Pension system.
This is a legal requirement for my visa, so receiving it pleases me greatly!
@gonzalo you don't need it until you apply for permanent residence.
i just asked the pension office for their copy of my records. you'll also get a copy every year with your payslips.
