Ive been working on emails for the past week. Found out today that, as far as I know, the only way to get a "sender avatar" is to create a google+ page or create a gmail account linked to the email. Which cant be done in our case, since the email points to a Google Group...

The nice circular progress will probably disappear before it goes live though. Some languages (german, I'm looking at you) have incredibly long words.
