I'm at a Nelly concert rn. Juvenile opened. this shit is BUCK WILD!

It was supposed to be an outdoor show but it got moved to the arena bc of a thunderstorm. it's fucking packed and rowdy and awesome.

I'm going to relearn spanish. I was never fluent, but I used to be able to hold a conversation and I think that it's important for me to get back at it.

So I Mari Kondo'd the shit out of my house over the last year and I've almost got things down to where I want them.

But I just cannot seem to be able to sell any of my effect pedals, even the ones I don't like, I have the irrational thought that I'll need them some day

I'm pretty good at making music, but really bad at recording/sharing it

I think I understand audiobooks now.

The only other time I've tried to listen to an audiobook was while driving and I just couldn't do it. But today at work I listened to one while performing a menial task and it was great

It's actually summer right now, but the temperature is cool enough that I can comfortably wear tights. That's pretty sweet.

Just played a 4 1/2 hour game of March of the Ants it it was the most intense board game experience I've had in a long time.

Just bought 2 pounds of native prairie grass seed. Time to ecobomb some empty lots.

Extremely tempted to buy a 5 pound bag of native tallgrass seed.

I wish I had gotten a bag way earlier in the season though...

The eternal question:

Do I keep reposting this old drum machine on Craigslist over and over for months before it finally sells, or do I take it to the music shop and get 1/2 that price instantly???

I used to be really good at shooters during high school. I got up to level 40 on Halo 2 back in the day.

I quit video games completely during college because I knew myself and my playing habits and needed to actually succeed at academics.

I bought a 3DS in grad school to play Animal Crossing and slowly have been getting back into gaming, responsibly.

Point is I bet with just a little bit of more playing I'll get good pretty fast and maybe win match.

I downloaded Fortnite for Switch the other day and spent a few hours playing it.

I know a lot of people are upset at the oversaturation of Battle Royale games, but I'm a pretty casual gamer and this was my first experience with one.

I had A TON of fun playing it. I'm amazed it's free, there's just so much game there.

My best game so far I got 5th with 2 kills. I really need to get better at building. I wish there were an offline sandbox mode I could practice building in.

Mushishi takes place in a fictionalized post-Edo period. It's about a man who travels around dealing with Mushi, which are a neat blurring between spirits and biological organisms.

The storytelling is really slow paced, but in a calm relaxing way, it doesn't drag on.

My wife (with a Ph.D in microbiology) loves that a lot of Mushi are very similar to how humans interacted with microbes before we knew about microbes.

The dub is on Netflix and the sub is on Crunchyroll, go watch it!

How come I never hear anyone talk about Mushishi?

It's reeeeeeaaaalllly good, one of my favorite anime. It's on Netflix for Pete's sake, why hasn't it found a larger audience???
