I love the idea that Silicon Valley types probably hate this place for having all this data like Twitter but not being allowed to monetize it. I wonder who would know who those people would be

I imagine those silicon valley types could talk to another silicon valley types that'd be willing to write code that'd take advantage of the open nature of the federation to spider and scrap the social relationships, history, etc.
It's a bit early for that, but those folks smell exponential growth like sharks smell blood, so.. be prepared.
