It's basic and maybe kinda generic-y pop, but so far Carly Rae Jepsen's Emotion album is just hitting the spot.

If I may make a confession, it was partially thanks to the people from TT (especially y'all I follow here) that convinced me to get any Carly Rae Jepsen in the first place. So thank you.

I actually already own and like Carly Rae Jepsen's Kiss album, so I'm not sure why it took me three years to finally get Emotion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Been adding to my Zappa collection lately, largely his older stuff. Though there are problematic lyrics from the start, I'm leery of really digging into the mid-to-late '70s Zappa stuff and beyond, as apparently he goes full-throttle with sexist and homophobic lyrics at times.

Hilariously, the only reason I ended up going there was because Subway mysteriously closed four hours early and Tin Horton’s ran out of chicken. But in the end, it was for the best. Got a tasty BBW chicken sandwich and broccoli and cheese soup.

How are we, as a civilization, going to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Smooth (feat. Rob Thomas) next year?

I know things are bad now and this is super petty of me, but one thing about the current situation I hate is seeing the constant stream of tweets and stuff by "experts" and the like that are like "You are AWFUL and UN-AMERICAN and you clearly aren't PAYING ATTENTION because you aren't PANTS-WETTING TERRIFIED enough at this THING YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER and HOW DO YOU EVEN SLEEP AT NIGHT you PATHETIC IMBECILE?" and it just never lets up.
