Russia stays and Spain is knocked out. #worldcup2018
Both teams were 1-1 at the end of 120 minutes and it was the penalty shootout that helped Russia score and win the game.
Russia scored 4 and Spain scored 3 in the penalty. Russian fans were too excited even at the chance they got for penalty.
Even though Spain dominated the ball possession with almost 1200 passes throughout the game, they failed to score goals.
It's not that Russia's defence was strong, but Spain didn't attempt much.
