Lost without ? Etherpad is a simple collaborative editor:
pad.riseup.net public.etherpad-mozilla.org pad.sfconservancy.org

good for group notes. Name of each pad is *security by obscurity*, so don't type anything confidential (usernames, passwords, PII, etc.)

@privacylab Deja vu from the days when I was trying to get people to share docs in formats that didn't require you to be using Microsoft Word.

@privacylab @vilbi You can put it behind sandstorm.io (free) and use logins. Plus way more 'apps'.

@gemlog had already a first look into it. But was not on sandstorm... will do next.
Thanks
@privacylab

@vilbi @privacylab You'll notice ethercalc as well as many other collaborative things.
apps.sandstorm.io/
They are heavily focused on security; look at kentonv's writing on e.g. HN or their blog. Sadly their business model didn't work out to pay the guys.

@gemlog @privacylab @vilbi Thanks for that, never heard of it before. Self-hosting always better in a long run.

You can self-host sandstorm too. You do need to be able to config wildcard dns. Also,there is a clever way they have to give you ssl (which I forget just at the moment the exact mechanism)
