ProtonVPN’s official command-line Linux app is available as of today! We’ve completely rewritten the code to improve its security, stability & performance: protonvpn.com/blog/linux-vpn-c Special thanks also to our Proton community, who made the original Linux app possible.

@protonvpn How about a desktop app like Windows and IOS have? Kinda feeling left out. :(

@protonvpn Nice! Is the repo x86 only, or are there arm packages available too?

@tristan957 I took this from the link to the blog post provided by protonvpn@mastodon.social in this thread.

@protonvpn

W: GPG error: ppa.launchpad.net/micahflee/pp focal InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 4E72F77D7D158F33
E: The repository 'ppa.launchpad.net/micahflee/pp focal InRelease' is not signed.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Please fix. Thank you.

@Shadowstreik This issue is not related to ProtonVPN, but rather, to the specific repository (ppa.launchpad.net/micahflee/pp).

@protonvpn
I don't know how to proceed. I'm pretty unknowledgeable ofthid, unfortunately. :(

@protonvpn u gonna add a visual interface? Command line is cool and it’s a epic flex but many Linux newcomers will get scared (OMG COMMAND LINE DKDKSNDJSJ)

@Dannyar We are actively working on a Linux GUI, although we cannot confirm a specific ETA at the moment.
