Programming often isn't enjoyable but it's quite satisfying when you find a nice solution to a problem you've been trying to solve.
@protosphere I often feel that there needs to be a better word for things we do in our free time that aren't fun in the traditional sense, but we still like to do them. "Fulfilling" is a bit of a cliche, but it implies that everything we spend time building is part of some creative vision, so I don't think that word suffices.
@protosphere So true. The problems that prove their worth by fighting back are the most satisfying when you finally vanquish them.
