@Bobo_PK Bezüglich ZFS und LUKS: Grundsätzlich harmoniert LUKS sehr gut mit ZFS. Aber wenn du ZFS als Root Filesystem verwenden willst, dann musst du alles manuell einrichten, da der Ubuntu Installer noch nicht mit ZFS klar kommt. Ich habe mein System z.B mit so einer Anleitung eingerichtet. https://github.com/zfsonlinux/zfs/wiki/Ubuntu-16.10-Root-on-ZFS Alls root fs würde ich es nicht jedem empfehlen, aber als Datenpartition ist es wirklich eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

One that worries me a lot is about message forgery. Anyone can forge a twoot, even cross-server.
Whereas Twitter Inc might be trustworthy enough to not forge transcripts. Anyone can run a Mastodon server and might want to abuse it to influence people (see Russian troll campaigns).
Should Mastodon "home servers" cryptographically sign updates? Should there be end-to-end signatures? Anyone has thoughts on this?
