@publicvoit indeed, use the editor(s) that work for you. I personally can’t stand emacs, but that’s no reason why others can’t use it.

I've used Emacs quite a lot over the years (mainly because of org-mode) and I've never really considered the editor part of it to be lacking. Never really understood why it was 'a fact' that the editor is so bad TBH.
