@shoofle The nut in honey nut cheerios is honey nut. Its recursively delicious!

For real though, most honey nut cereals use almond flavorings. Usually pulverized peach pits listed as "natural almond flavor" or some such in the ingredients. Although such a listing can also mean a percentage of actual almonds, so still avoid them if you have allergies.

@dankwraith Doing most of anything dev-wise on this laptop has been suffering, mostly because of the fried nvidia gpu.

That library looks like it'd be neat for a small project or two though, just have to wait for a system that doesn't crash so often.

@dankwraith Neat!

might check it out when i've got a gpu that isn't an integrated intel hd 4000

@dankwraith Again? wow...

Not that it matters for most people, since even bugfix patches for unity introduce breaking changes to the scriptable render pipelines, and it was impossible to keep up with when I *was* using unity. :v

@dankwraith What was it this time?

their unknowable ever-changing graphics pipeline? that "new" multiplayer api that lies in a constant superposition of existing? or is it something with DOTS that everyone talks about, but few people seem to actually know how to use

I can't decide whether I'm more annoyed that Wienerschnitzel doesn't serve schnitzel, or that they did for three months in 2017 as a gag

I'll be honest. I had no idea @NPR@twitter.com reviewed video games. Just never associated them with that. Regardless, this is one hell of a no-holds-barred review and NPR should continue to review video games.

As a person who's been interested forever in textiles, material culture, and manufacturing... if there's one thing I wish I could bestow on people from my reading it's that:

- all clothing is handmade and
- you get what you pay for

shop talk advice

@dankwraith Every tool sucks to some degree as well, some way more than others, and some degrade overtime with updates or lack thereof.

Godot has been nice to work with now but like, in 5 years who knows? :v

shop talk advice

@dankwraith It took around a year of unity getting less accessible and generally worse before before I realized exactly that.

when you find yourself going "its so frustrating when this tool..." or "god damn this piece or shit" or "it would be cool if you could..." it is time to think about doing things a different way
