It's a 2D graphical projection within the limited wavelength spectrum of human visual perception which represents my outwards physical appearance as seen at a very specific point in time, superimposed onto a miniature datasheet displaying vital information relevant to this particular country's legal subset of the larger human society, and in no way does it attempt to fully express even close to every facet of my being, instead posing only a gross oversimplification that allows for the sweeping generalizations of my social standing.
And so begins my new side project, #VidCommons
VidCommons.org is a #PeerTube instance dedicated to media released under Creative Commons licenses, as well as Public Domain videos.
The goal is to create a media portal full of stuff that's freely available to share, with the intent to maximize exposure for independent media released under CC-licenses, all within the fediverse.
or just hi!
A race of smart aliens scan Earth and find human communication flying back and forth. They monitor it a while, learn our languages. Eventually they make contact. We're polite, if a bit odd, and soon they agree to come here. Travelling for years, they arrive to discover mankind has been dead for centuries. They had made first contact only with our needlessly advanced AI answerphone network.
hey #lazyverse, what was that article about software engineering quality making the rounds here a few days back? My search-fu is failing me...
Honestly though, the main reason I chose it is now it can have a cute Pterodactyl logo. That will go nicely with Mastodon's prehistoric theme!
Now I just need to find someone who can draw a cute pterodactyl...
