Scripting languages are great for making programming accessible to people just trying to automate basic tasks on their computers, playing with data. Programming should be useful to people who don't know big O notation and algorithms.

TIL: there are a few butterflies with partly transparent wings, and they're beautiful. This is Greta morgane, which lives in southern Texas, Middle-America and the Carribean:

It's night but my apt is still cooler than outdoors. Also it's only 32°C but it feels to me like it's the hottest summer day. Also mosquitos are conspicuously absent.

Anyway, have a look at the view from here.

In your native language does a single negative make sense?

For example in English "I go nowhere" makes sense. In Greek, its word for word translation "Πάω πουθενά" is meaningles (albeit somewhat poetic)

This one was built just before the closed balconies were reduced to max 40cm and has a special place in history. It was here that the treaty of Greece's surrender to the forces of the axis was signed on the 27th of April 1941.

I'm going to shuffle the entries and email each author back an Act#

You continue the given story by writing another 100 words.

Send it back to me with your initials plus the Act#

By the end of the round each author will have co-written three 300 word stories with six other people. It's like an "exquisite corpse" for writers! Have fun! Hope to see your writing soon!
