does anyone have any general thoughts on #narrative voice in fiction or specifically science fiction? Is there a voice you prefer when reading a novel, or perhaps you prefer a mix like that used in "Cloud Atlas"? Any and all thoughts and comments are really appreciated! (I have several "main characters" in the book I'm currently writing, and more and more I think different narrative voices for each character might work better. @ariadne I think if you're using multiple narrative voices in a book that it needs a clear structure to support the changes in tone/voice/style and that you don't lose readers by either confusing or frustrating them. For that matter, would it be possible to use the traditional third person omniscient voice throughout but play with it stylistically as a reflection of each character? I guess I'm old fashioned in my taste. #writing #fiction
