Been mentally unwell this whole week (like a cold, nothing too serious) and AAA I hope I feel better again. There's so much work to do before I have a nice good long break not doing comics

(I have been trying to finish TCM before May/June.)

I recently worked on an Adventure Time comic and got to look at how someone else does her scripting (it was with Google Sheets). It's interesting to me to know how people script their comics. As for me I've an ugily written document of dialogue and minimal description and just let my brain come up with the rest (visuals, panels, speech bubbles...) later

Why is the last 5% of a story so hard to write for...though I actually don't have to worry about this cos by the time I've to draw this scene it would months from now and I may change it (or dont have to write it till then). But my process in regards to webcomics scriptwriting is that I write a complete first draft before thumbnailing.....and well

Been playing this Diner Dash-esque game about a grumpy grandma managing her husband's restaurant, and the achievements are all unlocking backstory conversations. This is the chill cozy game I need rn

Tfw you love decorative art/art history and historical details a lot so you incorporate them into your comic but they constantly whip your lazy ass like a bonus round of Dante's Inferno

None of the pages I am supposed to draw for the next update are the easiest. (SCREAMING)

I finished writing a significant part of The Carpet Merchant Vol II and I love it so much. It's coming together to be something I'd be really proud of for the rest of my life. A gentle, hopeful everything. 😭❤️

Hey everyone!! My webcomic The Carpet Merchant just got an ebook release!
Link: reimenayee.itch.io/the-carpet-

336 pages of full colour art! A cool story set in a historical time/place (17th century Ottoman Empire) not common in media!
It's pay-what-you-want, and every dollar goes to charity!
