My name's Zach, I'm one of those new members migrating after deleting all of my meta and twitter accounts. As a way of expressing my frustration over the TikTok ban. To be fair though I've wanted to delete my Facebook for a while now so it didn't need that much of a push.
Anyways, I work in cyber security. Both public and private sector. My wife @CRART and I are from Maine. So far I'm really enjoying the fediverse. Looking forward to meeting new people and ideas

@resx Hey Zach, welcome! There are instances with a much higher character limit, so if you're struggling with that, it's super easy to port all your followers to the new one!

@resx welcome, if you are looking for infosec people, a lot of them over here at infosec.exchange. it's well moderated and very performant. You don't have to switch to follow folks over here though.
