@revenant people keep telling me usenet is still alive but my ISP's server doesn't have any posts newer than 2017 *except* alt.binaries.linux.iso, which is absolutely still going

@revenant @obw #Usenet is dying a slow and ugly death. I took a look through the entire Usenet hierarchy earlier this year, and this is all I saw, aside from spam.
