Hey fediverse! Is anyone of you interested in #scheme or #lisp (or even #programming in general)?

I’m starting to work on the manual of CHICKEN Scheme’s upcoming major release.

Do you have anything you would love to see in a manual or tutorial introduction? Any input in welcome!

(boost if you want to help a cool open-source project 😇)

In `git merge foo` the current branch is the target (and foo is the source). In `git rebase foo` the current branch is the source (and foo the target). I find this a bit confusing and difficult to remember. (Or, is there a better way to think about this?)

every time I search for software and find out that it's hosted at , i just keep searching for an alternative. ah, sourceforge, the geocities of software hosting/distribution!

Python is (nearly) ubiquitous, easy to learn, ... but sooo boring and not fun to code/build in. Saying this as I read a book chock-full of python code examples. OT-one-H, I grok stuff straightaway; OTOH I'm not motivated to code in it *at all*.

@alexshendi good to connect with the person who brought my beloved 64 to !

if you thought "yacc" sounds like someone was vomiting something, then "byacc" sounds like it even more! :)

@qbit another thing: pass is GPL, gopass ... MIT. \o/
