Wow! I can see lots of things are happening in React Native side both from community developers as well as core team.

At first, core team tried to understand the pain points. then published roadmap. Now there is whole refactoring for the repo itself. Splitting up the repo with mono repo principle and deprecating the components which are no longer used and move most of the components to community repo.

I like this approach specifically. Say if i use a native component provided by React Native and wanted to quickly fix/patch something previously. We had to wait for some time to get the fix in a release and so on. But since now the components are separate repo and maintained by community guess it will be faster.

but once this lands - i might have to waste some time to migrate all my existing RN components to point out the new repo though!
