Still here, still alive. Life is a bit of a struggle atm but I am least back in my office and back on writing code.

Local issues aside, the whole world feels like it's on a knife edge right now. Just one shot of good news, please?

I mis-timed the car MOT so we're doing lots of walking everywhere this week (and some of next). So far so good; the forced exercise is still in the novelty phase and the kids seem completely unfazed by the trudge to and from school each day.

My feet fucking hurt though.

Having a bit of a 'too many weeks in the month' moment and counting down the days until payday. We almost had to resort to putting things up on eBay but thankfully not at the last minute.

I hate selling on eBay. Too much stress in posting things off and hoping the other person isn't a complete bellend to try to screw you over

Stuck mediating between 2 parties and had a blazing row on the phone detailing one sides greivences to the other. Not resolved but a dialog has been opened and a plan to get things sorted in the future.

I however feel so burned out already today. I was going to try to get so much work done, now it's fuck it and netflix

Worms Rumble on the other hand, which we also bought for £2 was shite. It's 3D, side on game with real time combat (that's fair enough, we knew that going in) but it does not let you set up a private lobby! We could squad up but we were forced to play online with others on a map that was way too large. Not great. We had more fun playing the older one

We (my game group) have all been playing Worms:Armageddon all weekend. Not bad for 1998 - multiplayer still works, 1080p (in game at least, menus are still 640x480) and not a single crash had by anyone.

I'm trying to get my gamenight group to play Worms Armageddon on Saturday night. Currently 2 quid on steam and the multiplayer still works (They had the foresight to use TCP/IP)

I like making YT videos but I struggle to come up with content. I'm watching a few friends join twitch and it's making me want to try it out...not sure about being live though.

I made the mistake of setting "Show all media" to true on Mastodon.

Local/Federated timeline proved that to be mistake 0_0

I might see if I can do some racing this weekend. The house is a bombsite and it badly needs a tidy so hopefully I get can enough of that done to warrant some time in the sim-rig

Eldest's child's birthday today.

There shall be cake, there shall be inlaws and there will be our house. For a brief moment cake, inlaws and house shall merge. Followed by no cake, then no inlaws and then just house. House is constant. Cake is fleeting. Inlaws are not fleeting enough.

Fixed my PC case! I'm not quite ready to get rid of the last of my spinning metal from my computer but at least I've stopped the case from loudly resonating/vibrating.

Most of my playtime for MSFS2020 is patching the bloody thing. It stalled doing a 100GB patch overnight >.<

Oh shit, PUBG just went free to play. I'm so glad I didn't shell out for that at xmas.

I don't use GIMP very often over photoshop but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
