Does anyone ever tried to has an indexed pruned node? Not sure if possible, but for example for LN would make sense as I do not need blocks prior to 2017, but I still need the new ones to be indexed

@fed what is an indexed pruned node ? I thought it was impossible to run -txindex and -prune at the same time

@Sosthene yeah I also believe that by default it is impossible, I was just wondering if there is some trick to do it

Maybe it is possible to use github.com/romanz/electrs for indexing the latest unpruned blocks?

@Sosthene @fed @Sosthene @fed electrs maintains its own index for the whole blockchain, while EPS uses bitcoind's wallet to index and watch a specific set of addresses.
