There's Switter but is there a Swatreon yet? There's Hatereon but it's pure garbage as the name suggests.
@gargron Part of the problem is we need a good libre and reliable electronic payments system. (Bitcoin ain't it on its own)
@rysiek @gargron That's true, though it isn't what I was talking about. Patreon shut this down because of pressure from the *payment processor* IIUC. If we really want to fix this stuff we need to not be so reliant on tools like Paypal, Stripe, etc. That's also a large portion of why people end up centralizing their shopping on Amazon instead of using smaller shops: at least you can "trust" that your payment with Amazon is "probably secure".
The whole modern payment system sucks.
