@rysiek The gimmicks they intend to use to enable personalized ads are amazing though. There's gonna be consent popups on some sites that ask for both X site + Google to be able to access your personal data to enable the personalized ones.

That is to be expected, most people believe that the centre of the tech world is in the US, when in all honestly it's in the EU.
When the EU act's and enshrines a directive, the tech world quakes.
