I don't think my old Pentax-M 28mm f/2.8 lens is getting enough love or attention from me.
Perhaps you want to gawk at some excellent bird pictures today?
I stayed up late last night, watching a bunch of videos on Ron Paul's YouTube channel.
Interview with Edward Snowden:
Snowden interviews Ron Paul:
Four Major Famines - Unintended Consequences Of US Foreign Policy:
I have grown cynical about nearly all politicians, but I now have a newfound appreciation for Ron Paul.
Would you like to poke my bubble?
killpg(0, SIGTERM) does not return an error, but nobody in the process group seems to have received a SIGTERM either. How do I go about figuring this out?
I'm pet-sitting this week, without much of actual sitting: caring and feeding of Penny the bearded dragon for our neighbor.
Last night I went to a pet store to get some crickets for Penny. There's a whole economy based on supplying insects for people that keep small reptiles are pets.
To think that this seemingly non-obvious business constitutes a small fraction of all human endeavors... that is incredible.

So you can type $ man std::string and get the man page right there!
The repo is here: https://github.com/jeaye/stdman

If you stay long enough and stare longingly enough at it on a rainy day, Lake Superior will give you a rainbow
Have stand up desk
Still won't hack
I feel bad
I don't understand most of these words yet I am programming in C++:
"When t is a forwarding reference (a function argument that is an rvalue reference to a cv-unqualified function template parameter), this overload forwards the argument to another function with the value category it had when passed to the calling function."
This is a problem.
Last night in the yard, I almost petted a skunk, thinking it was Appu cat. Happy to report that nobody ended up hurt, or petted.
Dear Mastodonians: in case you missed it, Matrix has hit a major bump in funding and we're asking for folks to support us via Patreon/Liberapay. If you believe in a world of decentralised real-time messaging/VoIP/VR/etc, then now would be an *amazing* time to help out!!
I admire Roland McGrath's retirement announcement:
