The Internet lost a hero today. EFF is mourning the loss of our visionary co-founder, John Perry Barlow. eff.org/deeplinks/2018/02/john

Hello everyone,

I'm a french game designer/programmer working mainly with Unity.
I love game jams and I'm passionated about everything related to game development.
My favorite games are board games and PS2 / Nintendo handhelds games :)

I'll be tooting about the projects I'm working on and occasional thoughts.

Also I'm currently looking for a job in any english/french speaking countries as a junior technical game designer or junior unity programmer on a PC or console game.

I don't really get Mastodon :( it's far too quiet for my liking. I post things but I don't think they're being read. and for promoting my Blog it's nigh on useless.

a blog post I shared recently got 2 views, neither of which where from the supplied link.

posting on twitter I was always guaranteed a couple of dozen views for my little site.

But I don't want to go back to twitter again. I'm at a loss.

if you have a personal web log, please reply with the url!

an attempt to collect everyone’s blogs - so as to not let precious non-commercial content go unread and unnoticed - is likely the only time i’ll ever ask:

please boost this toot.

There's space and time overlap between ICFP 2018 and StrangeLoop 2018? I'm confused. How can this work? 🤔

I have an open position on my team (just me & my manager) at work (Under Armour) for a senior software engineer. Our job description is so bad, though. It doesn't accurately reflect what working here is like or what I'd say my team is looking for. I'mma figure out who to talk to about making it better.

BUT: If you live in Austin and have questions about what we do and how we do it, please feel free to hit me up on here. Boosts welcome. I promise it's welcoming, not bro-ey; collaborative, not competitive; and that work/life balance is highly valued. It's a really great place to work and I'd really, REALLY like to not have a funnel full of cishet white dudes.

I want you to vote on the Red Hat Women in Open Source Awards.

I happen to be a finalist, but there are SO MANY OTHER AMAZING PEOPLE on that list. I want you to go through and read all the profiles, see some of the amazing work that's been happening by people who just happen to not be men. I want you to congratulate them on being a finalist. And I want you to vote for whoever you think is the best recipient of the award.

What to do if you see antisocial benchs that are supposed to don't let people lay down to rest in order to increase gentrification?

Repair them!
