Amsterdam web developer meetup Show more
There's a new open-access journal for quantum physics:
I should be able to browse local timelines of other Mastodon instances, and subscribe to those timelines. Something between "federated" and "local" timelines; "subscribed timelines" if you will.
Is that possible and I'm just not seeing it, or is it currently not a thing?
I extended the "official" Mastodon FAQ with the help of everyone here. Took a lot of compiling ("editing," not "g++", silly ) And I still haven't pulled together the work of others yet.
Thanks to those who asked questions, answered them, and boosted the stuff you thought was useful! It helped.
We'll see if it just rots on GitHub or does some good!

I would like to give some credit and props to all the developers who have worked on building #Mastodon /GS/OS.
Everyone talks about the missing features, but this is a pretty well made, well designed and largely bug-free product, for what I assume has largely been a volunteer effort.
Remember that the competitors have huge staffs of full time devs hired specifically to work on that product, so there's a big difference in resources. #Mastodev
