@sanspoint looks like it's not going to completely destroy third party apps, just make them unpleasant to use so people consider switching.
Unfortunately, I think they're probably correct in assuming users will blame the apps for not working anymore, not Twitter for deliberately breaking them.
@salameleon@sanspoint it's going to kill instant updates and force people to access through an app that shoves likes and promoted content in their faces. I think it's a good deadline to delete all of my accounts because I'm pissed and I don't even use it actively anymore.
@sanspoint Technically there are some part of the 3rd party client that can work except for live updates which already get destroyed. But there have made the API price ridiculously high which make it not affordable at all.
