The incomparable Andy Steward wrote a new #Emacs extension allowing us to run any #Qt program in Emacs to extend Emacs!? I’m just staring at the screenshots.

@eladhen @kensanata looks like it communicates with remote Qt/X process in python via DBus, so it could be made to work on remote emacs.
I have little #emacs clue so I don't know how the window/buffer code around https://github.com/manateelazycat/emacs-application-framework/blame/569dfdf27b0f894001e54489d9faeb25d33ddf3f/eaf.el#L158 would work on a tty.
@kensanata @saper
Not sure I got that (who am I kidding — I didn't)
@saper @eladhen Yeah, number one on the site I linked says: “Integrate PyQt program window into Emacs Frame using Xlib Reparent technology” – that sounds like X only. Not even sure whether this can work for macOS or Windows.
