I'm starting an interview series at the Plain Text Project, focusing on people who've embraced the plain text way of life. Interested in joining in, or know someone who is? You can find out more here:

@scottnesbitt it isn't always practical to use plain-text. Even the site itself isn't text-only which is kind of humourous. Although I agree the simplicity can be nice. Version control and diff tools rejoice as well.

But images, plots, graphs, and complicated mathematical equations don't lend themselves to text-only. I'll gladly use the right tool with the appropriate information density for the ideas I need to convey.

@fullywoolly I've never suggested that plain text is for everything (here, for example: plaintextproject.online/2017/0). But there are a number of tasks for which plain text works very, very well.

@scottnesbitt long live LaTeX :D. I do agree with you.

@scottnesbitt I've been using plain text to draft novels and stories for years, so I'm game.

@starbreaker Great! Please send me a quick message via the link below and I'll send the questions your way

@scottnesbitt You may want to talk to @cwebber about using OrgMode for All The Things.
@scottnesbitt And maybe talk to @perloid about using AsciiDoc for All The Things.

@scottnesbitt I like this! I'm considering using plain text. BTW, looked at the website and link to daily task list here plaintextproject.online/templa is broken and there is a "</a>" on plaintextproject.online/links. under "General information"

@scottnesbitt and also broken link to "Why Use a Plain Text File for Your Todos?" under Links
