it’s super interesting to me how iOS 18b3 inverts colored icons: it seems to grab icons with a flat color or 90° gradient and somehow turns the main shape into a mask to cut out its previous background gradient? I can only reliably make this happen with flat color or straight linear gradients

In 2024, the OS is generating icon assets for you. Really wild. Not a fan, but perhaps the greatest motivation for big companies to design dark mode icons unless they want to have the OS design it for them
