What are the minimum specs for a single-user Mastodon instance? I'm thinking about setting up one for myself, but I only have a tiny VPS to run it on
@shadowfacts 1.5gb ram, ok cpu should be enough. 1gb ram if yo're brave.
@chris My cheapo VPS has 512 MB :V
@chris Because it was the cheapest DO had. But I upgraded it to the second cheapest which has 1GB memory

@cliffcheney Yes. You can interact with people on other instances while still having 100% control over your own data
@shadowfacts It just needs to handle requests from each unique instance that contains someone following you, so a VPS is probably enough, unless you get super popular.
@shadowfacts A raspberry Pi 3 can run a 2 user instance, so... :p
