After Super Tuesday, I said Bernie Sanders should have withdrawn before he was humiliated and risked hurting “big reform” candidates that followed him.

Of these 4 states, he won just 5 counties—in Idaho (with a whopping 3655 votes, combined)

@Gargron I saw this posted a batrillion times. Is there no spam cop for this kinda stuff in the masto core yet, or was this novel?

What's the backstory here? He's posted a bazillion times. I'd been meaning to ask if people get to appeal?

And what about Fast Food workers? Will they all be wearing gloves and changing them 20 times a day? Not all stores use gloves anymore. They once seemed about to be ubiquitous in food service. Then gradually, they vanished. Let me guess, deregulation again?

If you were thinking of skipping this thread, that would be a big mistake on your part. Every word of it, should be read and processed slowly and carefully. We’re running out of country.

What makes me really angry about @BernieSanders@twitter.com is that his entire presentation is a very thin packet holding about 4 talking points and some colorful rhetoric wrapped around them. For his 5 years of effort, he’s done nothing at all to shape any kind of real … 1/5

A lot of people mocked @jamescarville@twitter.com’s rant week, but a) he was 100% correct, and b) it got so much bloody media coverage, it may well have helped change the dynamics of this race.

I’ll just let this say what I was just gonna say, while I go make a bagel.

People who know me only from Twitter probably think I’m a centrist Democrat. Why else would I push Biden over Bernie?

I actually have more in common with Bernie policy-wise. Hell, I’m to his left in some areas.

But Bernie is too narcissistic to lead as anything but a demagogue.

➧ Putin doesn’t care about primaries
➧ @JaneOSanders@twitter.com will not be Sec. of State
➧ @NinaTurner@twitter.com won’t either
➧ @RadioFreeTom@twitter.com got a good night’s sleep

The election was so rigged against Bernie Sanders. People actually went out and voted. He never stood a chance.

Bernie’s spin-psychos will yammer about delegates tomorrow morning, but not only were the winds of momentum knocked out of his sails, but the USS Bernie was basically dismasted and left foundering on the shoals of . Next week won’t be pretty.

BREAKING/@MSNBC now pulling firmly ahead. Widens lead by about 24,000 votes in Texas

BREAKING: Harris County now coming in. Sanders lead instantly drops to 4/10s of
1 point in Texas.

Because of IA & NH, Bernie will probably come out with a small lead in delegates, but a massive loss in momentum, with no more Calis out there. Then next week, Biden will crush him in all these states and it’s all over except the pundit mea culpas.

As expected, Bernie taking California, but look closely. Had Bloomberg left the race, ALL those votes would have gone to Biden. Not a good night for Saint Bernard.
