here's one thing I learned from the #fediverse: don't meddle with people that have a strong opinions on stuff. is it #vim or #emacs? we call it editor wars but in fact it's just a bit of fun and we like to tease each other. but when humor is not allowed anymore that is when it gets creepy and that's where you'd better shut up and let them devour each other instead of you.
@steckerhalter just don’t let the misanthropy take over. It’s easy to be a jaded cynic. It’s much harder to do the magic dance of online interaction. 😀
