@paulfree14 This is a generic GDPR notification. A data processor is a GDPR definition. Don't wish to accept? Use browser's Reader Mode. This strips out all JavaScript. Or read the changes in the source repo.
I don't get the hating on Medium. They respect "Do Not Track" browser settings for example. Any suggestions of alternative places where millions regularly go to read articles? Eugen has to reach outside our FOSS bubble sometimes to communicate w/ newbies. We shouldn't hate on him for it.

They absolutely do not support Do Not Track. They take note of it, and tell you that they comply, but the detailed info that you get by clicking through that notice indicates that they absolutely do still track you.
@gcupc @david_ross @paulfree14 soon MS will buy #medium and everybody will jump the ship

I do not claim that they are lying in that document. My claim is that that document gives them sufficient wiggle room to render the claim of complying with DNT a meaningless bit of PR.
Ok here's a challenge:
If anyone can prove they are lying in this document.. I'm all ears https://medium.com/policy/how-we-handle-do-not-track-requests-on-medium-f2b4b4fb7c5e
