We #dislike an #activity not because of the activity itself, but because of the negative thoughts we entertain during the activity. The negative thoughts create negative #emotions and we associate them with the activity which results in dislike.
Now to reverse this process we only have to watch our thoughts and stop feeding the negative emotions. That is how we can break the habit and free ourselves from the #like / dislike #slavery.
@Aarkon it's amazing how much work in #IT could be automated and yet there are millions of people that do these things manually either because of #changeResistance , ignorance or laziness π΅
@steckerhalter True (already realized this on myself when washing dishes or learning math), but only to some extend: I think there are definitively tasks we should not train ourselves to not dislike, like repitative jobs that computers do by far better than humans, e.g. deployments in software engineering.
