Here's something nifty: original art for an issue of Detective I pencilled back in '95. It was inked by the great Klaus Janson, and I learned SO MUCH studying the ways he interpreted my ill-formed, chaotic pencils.
The subject of the splash was kinda meh- a crook following a bag lady, both seen from behind- so I added the decorative dragon as a framing device, and Janson went to town on it.
