I hate this kind of stats “XX% of time on mobile devices is spent in apps and XX% on mobile web.” because
1. “mobile web” doesn’t mean anything
2. most apps now open content in a webview, so you are still in the app, but also, on the so called “mobile web” at the same time.

Check this for some stats of Facebook's webview for instance
So TLDNR: if you ask users if they use “the mobile web” aka the web in browser there’s a good chance they answer “no” while still using it via apps in webviews, OPTIMIZE YOUR SITE FOR MOBILE.
