Genial, wie ruhig es plötzlich ist.
Eine kurze aber insgesamt durchaus schöne Zeit lang war ich 1/2 eines Deutschpop-Duos namens sonic elephant.
Wir nahmen uns dann letztes Jahr eine Auszeit, wegen künstlerischer Firlefanzien.
Würde mich ja total in den Fingern jucken, hier trotzdem exklusiv was davon zu veröffentlichen, wohl wissend dass es maximal 5 Leute mitkriegen werden...

Ok, still no #audience. Whatever. So here's today's #song.
"Substitute" was written at a time when there was much tension in the band, which ultimately led to Laura's departure... but it's one of my all-time-favourites nonetheless.
And that's not because it's one of the few songs where I do the lead vocals, but rather cause it's the most #triphop recording we ever did, captures the then-mood perfectly, and it's got a brillant solo from our then-guitarist Wolfgang.
...just realised that the 'sometimes I feel like machine / like nothing I do is for real' is still quite fitting in some ways...

Ok, so this #music thing is working even less here than it does on #birdsite.
It's quite understandable. You can 'get' a picture really quick. But for music, you have to click the link (no embed on #mastodon?) and spend your precious time.
But know what? I don't care. So here's another song for you to enjoy. ;) And yes, I'll keep doing this until I get feedback.
This one is from our album "Grounded" (2007), and for me, this song marked the beginning of a new life.
