Now that I've completed Horizon Zero Dawn (one of the best games I've ever played, and will likely play it again) it's time to get back into and finish The Witcher III.
@Smolgrumps I've been a gamer for a long, long time, and I rarely see a game to its conclusion because I always get bored. Exceptions include Fallout 3, Fallout 4, and Horizon Zero Dawn.
HZD was just SO awesome. I hope a sequel is in the works, and considering what Sylens did at the end, I'm sure there will be.
@sterling_archer I have a friend who checks in every couple of months to see if I've finished Witcher III yet and I swear one day she's going to snap and drive to my house and finish it for me. It's a lot of game
@checkervest There is definitely a lot of game even without the DLC, which I have, so there's even MORE game.
I'm really enjoying Witcher, but holy crap leveling up is slower than continental drift.
@sterling_archer It's such a good-looking game and it's a lot of fun to play but man I get distracted so easily and there is just soooo much to do, and every time I set it down and come back to it I completely forget at least a third of what to do in combat
@checkervest Agreed! I really wish game devs would allow us to map the controller how we'd like it. For instance, the controller scheme for most Bethesda games (Fallout 3, NV, and 4; Skyrim, Prey) is my favorite, so I'd love to remap other games to match that as closely as possible.
@sterling_archer That would be great. It's horrible especially when you're switching a lot between games and your muscle memory gets badly confused. I was playing Fable 2 or 3 a long time ago and meant to hit the button for "run" in the game I'd been playing previously and ended up immolating some villagers instead
@checkervest I hate it when that happens.
@sterling_archer Honestly, one of the best games I've played this year or in the last two years.
